We are proud to present our first geoTLD image brochure that gives an introduction of why our member cities and regions had applied for an own top-level domain and also provides a comprehensive overview of our association, its members and activities, with many usage examples.
Our 39 operators of geographical top-level domains, including .stockholm, .nyc, .tokyo and .corsica, joined forces in 2016 to form an international association based in Brussels. The association represents the interests of geographic domain extensions (geoTLDs) that identify a city, region, language or culture to ICANN, politicians and other stakeholders.
Our members include national and regional government agencies, companies and foundations. The association’s vision is to shape tomorrow’s Internet with digital identities for places and communities. The association also strives to promote and develop the potential of local digital identities for the benefit of cities, regions, cultures and languages.
